This Privacy Policy explains how Resume Master (“we”, “us”), a service of Career Ease IT Solutions, collects, uses, and protects personal information. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.
Account & profile data: name, email, role, and optionally a phone number and avatar — created by you or by an organization administrator. Résumé content: the professional history, contact details, and other information you (or an organization on behalf of a candidate) provide to build a résumé — this may include personal data. Application-tracker data: jobs you save and track, their status, and related notes. Ratings & files: feedback you submit and documents/deliverables you upload or receive. Payment metadata: plan, purchase, and invoice records. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers. Usage & device data: logs, browser/device information, and product interactions used to operate and secure the service.
To provide the résumé-building, tailoring, scoring, and delivery features; to run the application tracker; to authenticate and secure accounts; to send account and transactional messages (by email and, if enabled, push notification); to process payments and issue invoices; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Résumé and job-description text you submit for AI assistance is sent to Anthropic (the Claude models) to generate tailoring, audits, research, cover letters, LinkedIn suggestions, and interview-prep output. Research features may also send non-personal query terms (such as a company, role, or field) to a web-search provider. AI output is a suggestion that may contain errors and must be reviewed by you before use.
We rely on vetted providers to run the service, each under a data-processing agreement:
A current list of sub-processors is available on request at team@resumemaster.online.
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We retain account and résumé data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within 30 days of account deletion unless a longer period is required by law. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your rights”).
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated records. To exercise these rights, contact team@resumemaster.online. If you are in the EEA/UK, our lawful bases and your rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR are set out in a data-processing addendum available on request.
The service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We operate from India and serve users in the United States and elsewhere, so your data may be processed across borders (including India ↔ United States) and in the regions operated by our providers. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider. Access is restricted by role and by tenant isolation (each customer’s data is separated at the database layer with row-level security). Optional two-factor authentication is available. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
